Quick answer

Cotribute is certified on Jack Henry SilverLake and Synergy as a member of the Jack Henry Vendor Integration Program, with a real-time jXchange connection in production at First Fidelity Bank. The integration creates customers and accounts, adds beneficiaries, verifies identity, manages relationships and processes transfers in SilverLake at approval, with loan applications passed to the bank's LOS. One certified connection pattern covers SilverLake, CIF 20/20 and Core Director. Account opening goes live in about 30 days.

What it takes to integrate digital account opening with Jack Henry SilverLake

SilverLake exposes its core data and business rules to vendors through jXchange, which Jack Henry describes as a services-oriented architecture providing open connectivity between the core and complementary products. For a bank, that means a vendor can create and inquire on customers and accounts without a batch file and without middleware, provided the vendor has built and certified the connection.

On the bank's side, three things are needed: a SilverLake test environment with jXchange enabled, whether in-house or on Jack Henry's OutLink private cloud; a core or IT contact who can approve the connection and the service permissions; and the product codes and account types you want available online. Cotribute builds and maintains the integration under the Vendor Integration Program, so there is no connector fee and no integration contractor to hire.

What the SilverLake integration does

The connection runs SOAP 1.1 with WS-Security through jXchange, certified under the Vendor Integration Program since October 2024. In production it creates and inquires on accounts; creates and searches customers so an existing customer opening a second product is recognized; adds beneficiaries; manages relationships between customers and accounts; verifies identity; processes transfers for funding; and uses cursor-based pagination for large result sets. Synergy, Jack Henry's document management system, is certified alongside it for document image creation and index maintenance, so disclosures and KYC documents filed during origination land where the bank's back office already works.

Business accounts run on the same connection: organizations, authorized signers and beneficial owners are written to SilverLake in the same session as consumer applications. FraudGuard+ and BusinessGuard+ screening run before the write.

Which community banks fit, and how loans are handled

SilverLake serves growth- and commercial-focused banks from community size to multi-billion-dollar institutions, and Jack Henry reports that more than 30% of domestic banks over $1 billion run it. Those banks almost always have a loan origination system they intend to keep. Cotribute is built for that: the application, eligibility, fraud screening and product qualification run on Cotribute, and the loan file passes to the bank's LOS, where the credit decision, underwriting and adverse action stay. At First Fidelity Bank, a community bank on SilverLake, loan applications flow into Finastra Decision Pro. Cotribute runs seven of nine lending steps; the decision is the bank's.

Account opening is live in about 30 days: sandbox in roughly ten business days, configuration and the jXchange connection in weeks two and three, testing and two training sessions in weeks three and four, go-live around day 30, then 60 days of hypercare. Loan modules take 45 to 60 days depending on how many products the bank brings.

How First Fidelity Bank runs it

First Fidelity Bank runs consumer account opening on Cotribute on SilverLake with four or more account opening configurations in production, accounts created in SilverLake in real time, and loan applications routed to Decision Pro. The bank kept its core, its LOS and its document system; the origination layer is what changed.

One connection pattern, three Jack Henry bank cores

The jXchange connection certified for SilverLake is the same pattern Cotribute runs on CIF 20/20 and Core Director. A bank group with more than one Jack Henry core, or a bank planning a move between them, does not start the integration over.

Does Cotribute integrate with Jack Henry SilverLake, and is it certified?

Yes. Cotribute announced certification on SilverLake and Synergy as a Vendor Integration Program member in October 2024, after joining the program for Symitar in 2023. Jack Henry notes that VIP inclusion is not an endorsement of a vendor's product. The proof we would point to instead is a production bank on SilverLake and an application posting to a SilverLake sandbox, both of which we will show you.

Which digital account opening platforms integrate with SilverLake?

Cotribute and MANTL both name SilverLake; Narmi names it among its cores; MeridianLink's marketplace lists Jack Henry. Cotribute publishes SilverLake as one of eleven real-time connections with the capabilities listed above. MANTL and Narmi do not make a per-core real-time statement. The question to put to every vendor is whether customers and accounts are created in SilverLake at approval or moved in by file later, and whether business accounts are on the same connection.
