Most institutions buy growth one point at a time: an account opening vendor, a separate loan application front end, an onboarding or activation tool, a marketing automation platform and, more recently, AI pilots. Each one is useful on its own. Together they create seven systems, seven vendors and seven handoffs where applicants and new members and customers drop out.
A Growth OS replaces those handoffs with one layer. It does not replace the systems of record. The core keeps the accounts, the LOS keeps the credit decision and digital banking keeps the everyday experience.
What a Growth OS includes
- Attract. AI agents that find and target the prospects most likely to open your front-door product, with campaigns your team approves.
- Open (digital origination). Digital account opening and digital loan applications, consumer and business, through one entryway, with fraud checks and deterministic rules running before an account exists. Credit decisions are handed off to the LOS.
- Onboard (digital onboarding). Funding, direct deposit, cards, digital banking enrollment, joint owners and beneficiaries completed inside the application, and on demand for existing members and customers.
- Grow. AI Growth Agents that recommend the next best product for each relationship, with a person approving every offer.
- Built into every stage. Fraud and decisioning, governed AI access to the data through MCP, and a growth team that sets targets with the institution and reviews results every quarter.
How a Growth OS differs from the alternatives
| Point solutions | Core or digital banking suite | Growth OS | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope | One stage | Bundled, often account opening only | All four stages |
| Core, LOS or digital banking replacement | Not required, but many systems to integrate | Often requires the vendor's core or digital banking | Not required |
| AI | Varies, often pilots | Roadmap-dependent | Agents in production, governed, human-in-the-loop |
| Who owns outcomes | The institution | The institution | Shared, with an assigned growth team |

Questions
Is a Growth OS the same as a core banking system?
No. The core remains the system of record. A Growth OS runs on top of it.
Is a Growth OS a loan origination system?
No. It captures digital loan applications and runs eligibility, fraud and product qualification, then hands off to the LOS, where underwriting and the credit decision stay.
Does a Growth OS use AI to approve applications?
Cotribute's does not. AI Growth Agents recommend; deterministic rules owned by the institution decide eligibility and fraud; the LOS decides credit.
How long does it take to start?
Account opening is typically live in about 30 days on the existing core; other stages are added as the institution is ready.
Is Cotribute a digital account opening platform or a loan origination system?
Cotribute runs digital origination for both deposits and loans: consumer and business account opening, and consumer and business loan applications, through one entryway. It is not a loan origination system (LOS). Cotribute captures the application and runs eligibility, fraud and product qualification, then hands off to your LOS, where underwriting, pricing and the credit decision stay.
What is in-session onboarding?
Digital onboarding that happens inside the application. Funding, the direct-deposit switch, card activation, digital banking enrollment, joint owners and beneficiaries are completed before the person leaves the session and written to your core. On-demand onboarding brings the same actions to existing members and customers, including dormant and single-product accounts. The deposit switch runs through the provider your institution contracts with.
What is MCP Connect?
MCP Connect gives your team governed, read-only AI access to origination data from the assistants it already uses, such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT. Every query is audited, PII is masked by default, and a starter tier is included with AI Growth Agents.
Do we have to replace our core, LOS or digital banking?
No. No core conversion, LOS replacement or digital banking replacement is required. Cotribute integrates with 13 core platforms, real time on 11, including Jack Henry Symitar and SilverLake, Corelation KeyStone and all six Fiserv cores, plus 36+ direct API integrations.
